Sorry Mom

Momina Nomina - So I found your blog today...

Me - Let's not talk about it.

Momina Nomina - I think that's best.

Ha thankfully I have technologically unsavvy parents. I thank god every day for that.

hahaha it happens to the best of us. I think you're okay until they start commenting or including the URL in family newsletters.

Yeah.

That happened to me.

Finding naughty pics on Mum's site--awkward.

Ha! You and your mom are wise. It took my mom and I a good fight for her to stop reading.

Oh...boy. Awesome.

oh man, my poor mom would probably pass out if she read my blog

Haha, oh man. My biggest fear!

My dad actually showed my blog in a work presentation. I'm not sure what that says about his job....

I don't think my parents know what a blog is. I recently had to teach my dad how to use backspace. He thought is was the coolest thing ever.

Ouch. That kind of blows. When I went "dark" I didn't give my parents the new URL. I haven't bitched about them yet, but I wanted to reserve future rights to do so.

But I'll play the one-up guy...my shrink used to read my blog...and once sent me an e-mail asking if I wanted to schedule a session. Now, if that doesn't make you look fuck-all crazy, nothing really will.

Dude, why was your mom doing looking for your blog in the first place. Does she think you have something to hide? And while we're on the subject, why didn't your mom already know about your blog in the first place? I mean, isn't it a mother's right to know?! =)

I've been begging my mum to read mine and all I get is " computer, is that one of those things folk surf on?"
I am my mothers daughter :-(

My mom reads my blog. She's a blogger herself. I'm just sure to note when she can't read or Google a certain word. For example: Drilldo. That's not mom safe.

Hi Momina!

Hilarious. My parents read my blog but refuse to leave comments because they don't want to invade my privacy.

What?

And my boyfriend's mom reads it too. I'm certain the first time I meet her I'm going to blurt out, "So you've seen my ass on the internet. huh?!"

haha-- luckily my mom would never be able to find my blog. My boss? that's a different story. I'm counting the days until that one happens.

I have no idea if my parentals read my blog. We barely talk as is, so I sorta doubt it.

classic! i know my momma reads mine. sometimes its a passive aggressive way to tell her she pissed me off about something. its the american way

my mom reads mine. my dad on the other hand? id flip if he found it.

My mother reads my blog and makes horrified mom type comments because she thinks everything I say is true.

I've had to revoke her commenting priviledges.

I mean seriously.

Does she really think I have a Chinese hooker tied up in my basement?

Ivonne said...

HOw did she find it? Was she purposely looking for it, or did she stumble upon it?
I really want to go with option number 1. Option number 2 makes me think my mom could find mine.

My mom probably thinks "blog" is a bad word. Kind of like "butt" or "crap."

I might be safe.

You just wrote out my #1 fear.

Actually, my #1 fear is snakes on a plane (the actual event occurring, not the movie, though I heard the movie was bad), but this is definitely #2.
